A Delicious Cocktail

It's true; Dr Martens and Liberty have created a delicious cocktail by combining the edgy tomboyish boots with some pretty floral prints to soften the blow. Liberty's classic patterns are just the thing to go with Dr Martens - the well known and loved staple for combat boots. Because both the brands are well established and recognised by many generations they suit each other surprisingly well considering their extreme contrast with one another. The vintage effect is perfect and makes me wonder what the next unlikely collaboration in fashion brands will be. In the mean time take a look; does this cocktail tickle your fashion-buds?

Thick as Blood

A colour that has been catching my eye a lot lately is burgundy, bordeux or oxblood. Its versatility is astounding; you can wear it slightly bohemian or even sultry although there's nothing slight about sex appeal. If I were to recommend an item in this colour, depending on whether you are a socialiser or more layed back, it would be trousers (for the casuals) or a simple cocktail dress. An absolute must is a leather item in this hue; be it a pair of brogue's or a bag. There isn't much to explain about this colour so I won't ramble on but I assure you it is deffinitely worth wearing.
