The man who's always there for me - Doc Marten

Martens walk their way back in to fashion. Rewinding back to the 90's when doc martens started, they have stayed in our shoe cupboards collecting dust. Making a break through in to the fashion world, London has been invaded with the  rugged shoes.I love them with patterened leggings or ripped stockings, or high waisted shorts it gives an edge to watever you're wearing.

Alexa Chung-the Little Vintage

Shift dresses, little cardies, socks with heels...No-one pulls these items off quite like Alexa Chung. When hearing her name you think of a quirky chinese girl, but then you see a picture of her and you immediately turn green with envy from wanting her clothes, her figure and the way that she makes her middle parting and outgrown bob look like the coolest hairstlye in the world. We can't get enough of her individuality and her obsession of over-sized blazers. Even though fashions change her sense never wavers from old-school vintage. We love her because she's different and she isn't ashamed of it making her all the more stunning.

Mondo Guerra-Positive Reactions

When someone says the name "Mondo Guerra" things that come to mind are oompa loompa's, candy shops and of sadly HIV. This odd

in the sewing room is much like Rumplestilskins-whatever he sews turns to gold. If someone described his clothes to you, you'd think he was an amateur kiddy-design artist who needed to add some class to his works. However if you actually saw his pieces with your own eyes you would marvel at the way he mixes a perfect ratio of sophistication and playfulness. You would never expect his bright clothes to have come from the mind of someone suffering from HIV, his attitude and fashion is something to comend.

Burberry Model Douglas Booth

In our opinion, Douglas Booth is one of the hottest hotties in the male modelling world. He has that vintage look with the perfect lips and the ridiculous jawline which brings a certain James Dean-like quality to the camera. Burberry's incredible taste in models pleasantly suprises us every time (they don't have any of those odd feminine looking men) they go for the clean-cut masculine look that gets every woman's heartbeat working double time. Although it depresses us to a certain extent, we can't resist taking a peek of his gorgeus mog every once in a while.

Twiggy-the legend lives on

Yes, I know we shouldn't judge but when I talk about Twiggy and someone listening says "Who's Twiggy?" I just can't stop myself from putting on a pitying frown and exclaiming "Are you being serious?"  I mean she's a fashion icon that everyone should know some information about. Not just the people who are interested in fashion know her, the whole world knows her. Even my father knows her and he's one of those people who pick the clothes that are on top of the pile, no thought goes into his sense of fashion. The way her doe-eyed and uninterested face looked into a space of nothingness immediately captured the fashion world and everyone wanted to look like her even if she was abnormally skinny. Since then, there has yet  to have been a model with interesting and unique looks like Twiggy's. All eyes are on Karlie Kloss as she bravely creates her own uniqueness just like Twiggy did. We just hope there'll be more "Twiggies" on the horizon.

Spring Trends We Love

Living in "sunny South Africa" people think that Spring style means pretty sun dresses and cute little shorts. WRONG. A style is not an item of clothing like a dress or shorts, it's an aspect of the design that makes it unique, not ordinary.
This Spring we're loving pleats. They make your clothes look like there's been that much more time put into making it, creating the illusion that it's expensive. Another plus about the pleat is that they are a safeguard against tackiness-depending on your scale of being unfashionable-as they create elegance to your otherwise cheap-o outfit.
Another amazing idea that we're sure you've all noticed is the tail hems on tops. JE T'AIME BEAUCOUP! French is the only way to explain how much we love this tiny piece of extra material. We can't get over how cool it makes the item look. It truly is a wonder of the fashion world.

Kimbra's Settle Down Music Video

We just can't get enough of Kimbra's wardrobe in her music video for her song Settle Down. Her partly sheer vintage black dress is to die for and it is evident that her taste in fashion is certainly not lacking. I got the shock of my life when I realised that the two little ladies were in fact young girls! They are eerily mature and it adds to the beauty and uniqueness of the music video. The white dresses they twirl in on the burning stage in are brilliantly contrasting towards Kimbra's black dress, the flaming fire and the melting dolls. If only Jay-Z and the likes of them would take some of her fashionable ideas into consideration.

Thylane Blondeau

Thylane Léna Rose Blondeau is the ten year old model from France who has alreadymade her mark all over the modelling industry.  She has done works for Vogue, Lacoste, Dani Brubaker and many more. Tonnes of people around the world are in disagreement to whether it's morally acceptable to expose such a young girl to the pressures of the modelling industry. Okay you can judge but we're not going to lie; JEALOUSY IS PRESENT! Who wouldn't want to do that? Not everybody's childhood is the same and if her mother wants her to have an extraordinary life then she gets our go-ahead. Ignore everybody else if you are certain that you fully support your actions. Now onto the fashion side of things; we love her flawlessness and her innocence. It's true that the beauty of youth is second to none. She doesn't even have to pose; she just stares at the camera and you find yourself turning into the green-eyed monster. If only we could all be that stunning. Then again if everyone was pretty no-one would be.

Gladiators-our little fashion warriors

I absolutely LOVE gladiators. Even if no-one notices your feet, you know they're there and we LOVE the way they add a certain ethnic character that would not exist without them. Don't expect me to go on for much longer; there isn't much to say about these genius creations and I certainly wouldn't want to bore you.
