Not always but often in life one should follow the well known mantra of "keep it simple sweetheart" or K.I.S.S. Far too often I see potentially amazing outfits or accessories that have over complicatedness weighing them down; inhibiting them to soar to the heights of receiving "Oohs" and "Aahs" from fashion's elite. I shan't go on too long; it would be completely going against the aim of this post. So there you go: state your point be it in fashion or, as I'm presently doing, in a view of fashion and sign of as soon as the world knows what what's and nothing more.
Polaroid
Polaroid is an online magazine with a Fashion section(Pins & Needles) and a photography section(Sticky Lense) and the two sections usually tie in with each other. I try and remember to do a monthly cover that tells you what will be in store for you to check out. In case you're wondering none of the pictures I take are from a Polaroid camera, I don't have the time and money to go through that admin, but the name was cool so I used it anyway.

Delicate Adournments

The James Dean
After two years of longing for short hair - like a boy; not your average pixie cut - I finally decided to do it. After all is not one of the comforting certainties of life the undeniable fact that at least once a year (preferably more frequent I beg of you) we all take a trip to the hairdresser? The indie cut, hitler comb over, James Dean or Brit punk: call it what you will it shouts individuality. As long as the whole world doesn't suddenly deem short hair the status quo for women you can almost guarantee the look will not be run of the mill.

Good Ol' Denim
Denim has been around for ages ever since Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis created the resiliant mix of cotton for workers and cowboys in 1873. Even today a tardy, worn denim jacket is as admired just as much as a leather jacket and is as good as an old friend. Denim adds edge without the ever looming possibility of a Goth factor and yet an old man wearing his favourite denim jacket from his glory days looks equally warm and probably friendly. A unique denim jacket is a treasure to be kept and given to your teenagers when your title of "cool mom" is waning. It may as well be an antique Bulgari costume necklace only without the worry over insurance.

Gaga's Shoe Diary
We all know that Lady Gaga has worn some of the weirdest outfits known to man (one word springs to mind - meat) but I personally have never actually taken a great interest exactly what her shoes were. Of course I have a general idea and can point some of them out but I want to know what each shoe looks like. My reason? Pure entertainment.

Wearing Her Majesty
I never thought that rich and royal flavours with decadent embroidery could be achieved in a classic modern way. Then I took a look at Balmain and to my utter surprise they did just that. I am delighted to finally be able to take a garment too heavy to wear; not because it is a gown or an overly flamboyant costume but because it is something tasteful like a modernistic cocktail dress, and still call it classy. The sheer opulence of the beading and textures paired with the relatively simple dress patterns and military designs are the perfect balance and create a wow effect never quite achieved to such a monarchical degree as this.
